No advance payment is required to book a vehicle. Payment is made only at the time the vehicle is handed over, so there are no booking prepayments to refund.
1. Booking Without Prepayment
1.1. Bookings are confirmed without any advance payment or card guarantee. 1.2. The Lessee may cancel or change a booking at any time before the vehicle is handed over, free of charge. We kindly ask that you notify us at least [24] hours in advance.
2. Payment at Handover
2.1. The full rental price and the security deposit are paid when the vehicle is handed over to the Lessee, after the Rental Agreement has been signed. 2.2. Accepted payment methods: [cash / bank card / bank transfer]. 2.3. The Lessee receives a receipt or invoice for all amounts paid.
3. Early Return
If the vehicle is returned before the end of the agreed rental period, the rental price for unused days is [not refunded / refunded in proportion to the unused full days], unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Refund of the Security Deposit
4.1. The security deposit is refunded in full when the vehicle is returned in accordance with the Rental Terms and Conditions. 4.2. The following amounts may be deducted from the deposit:
- the cost of repairing damage to the vehicle not covered by insurance;
- traffic fines and penalties incurred during the rental period;
- excess mileage charges;
- refuelling, cleaning or late return charges;
- any other amounts owed under the Rental Agreement.
4.3. Each deduction is explained to the Lessee and supported by documentation (photos, invoices or official notices) on request. 4.4. The deposit is returned [at the moment of vehicle return / within [__] days] using the same payment method used to pay it. Card refunds may take additional time to appear, depending on the bank.
5. Fines Received After Return
If a fine or penalty relating to the rental period is received after the deposit has been refunded, the Lessee remains liable for it and undertakes to pay it on request.
